Tap&Trust detects malicious links with the WOT API and throws a notification
Tap&Trust detects and blocks malicious links and displays a pop-up notification. The security of the URLs is checked using the API of the Web Of Trust.
The clicks on links in mailboxes (Gmail, Twitter, SMS, etc) will be blocked if URLs are malicious.
The application protects you from malicious websites when you surf with the native browser and Google Chrome.
A Widget allows to make secure search with different search engines such as :
Google, Yandex, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu. The secure search uses the voice input.
The degree of security can be customized in the Settings page by setting a threshold for trustworthiness and for child safety:
- Excellent, good, mediocre, poor, very poor or disabled.
- The application is an unofficial application of Web of Trust (it uses the API of WOT).
- Supported languages : English, French, Italian and Russian.

The app works with a service and needs some permissions:
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED => Used to launch the service when the app starts
READ_HISTORY_BOOKMARKS => Used to read the URLs from history to check them with WOT
INTERNET => Used to check URLs with the WOT API
